My love for art began when I was 9 years old. It started when I was introduced to my new best friend, whose parents were both artists. I loved being in their house, the space and the way it made me feel. Soon, thanks to her bossy mom, I found a paint brush in my hand and myself in a ballet class. The rest of my life unfolded as I met my husband/co-creator, Roark Gourley. Our journey took us on stage where I found my voice in spoken word and he invented the special effects. We are a great team where I couldn’t do what he does, nor he mine.
