For nearly 60 years, Sawdust has been the launchpad for Laguna’s most iconic artists. More than a place to exhibit your work, it’s where emerging talent becomes recognized, where sales meet storytelling, and where a built-in audience of thousands come looking for what only you can create.
Whether you’re a local who’s been sketching since you could hold a pencil, or an out-of-town artist seeking to bring your work to a new audience, becoming a Sawdust artist means you’re claiming a place in Laguna’s art legacy.
We offer two opportunities a year to exhibit: The Sawdust Art Festival, and Winter Fantasy. Each show has its own energy, but all share the same mission: to spotlight handmade, original art in its truest form.

For nine weeks each year, our canyon is transformed into a vibrant, open-air village of working artists. If you’re a full-time Laguna Beach resident and your work is original, handcrafted, and ready to be shown, this is your moment.

Winter Fantasy is a seasonal favorite, with five festive weekends filled with twinkling lights, merry melodies, eager shoppers, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Unlike our summer show, artists from outside Laguna are welcome to apply.
