Enjoy a mini retreat – with wine!
For a while now Michelle has been wanting to create a safe space for women to come together, reduce stress and create together. She has a process where we can transform the stress of our lives into something beautiful.
Join in the adventure of creating abstract art by sheer intuition. Like dancing, you’ll find your own rhythm utilizing different textures, materials, colorful mediums, and tools.
We will explore oil pastels, acrylic paint, specialty papers, graphite, charcoal, and inks. So many different items to choose from.
We often lose ourselves as Women. In various roles as caretakers, mothers, and in our jobs, we are trying to BE for other people what others need from us. Let’s have a lovely afternoon exploring and creating an abstract piece of art that will inspire you every day.
Michelle would be honored for you to join us!
Price

Meet the Teacher
Michelle S. Burt
Orange County California Fine Artist Michelle S. Burt is an expressive impressionist. She is passionate about enhancing your environment with art. Creating a line of single subjects that captures the eye as well as the imagination. Dancers like water, fluid and inspiring, see the movement and feel the motion. Michelle's enthusiasm, passion and strength adorn each canvas. She paints from her heart, capturing the rhapsody of each fleeting moment with texture and color. Michelle grew up at the beaches and in the mountains of Southern California . She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from California State University of Long Beach in Art with an emphasis in Interior Architecture. During her time at CSULB, while taking general art classes, she discovered her passion for the fine arts and her love of oil painting was born. Throughout her career as a designer and entrepreneur, she has continued her studies with local Southern California Plein Air award winners. For decades she loved going to the galleries and summer art Festivals in Laguna Beach. In 2012, Michelle moved to Laguna Beach California to fulfill her lifelong dream of pursuing her art. She resides with her son, Caden and they're enjoying the ocean from two different perspectives: he swims in it and she paints it.
