Fact Sheet: 2014 Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival, “A Holiday Tradition”

WHAT:

The 24th Annual Winter Fantasy at the Sawdust Art Festival features over 175 artists (33 new this year) who exhibit and sell their original art and unique, hand-crafted items in an enchanting outdoor setting in Laguna Canyon. Special holiday highlights include the annual Community Night and Tree Lighting Ceremony, Zoomars Petting Zoo, Toys for Tots holiday toy drive, Children’s Holiday Playhouse, thousands of lights and holiday decorations, and Santa! The Winter Fantasy entertains patrons with art classes for all ages including this year’s Winter Art Series classes, holiday carolers, Rene’s Marionettes and music of all genres.   Additionally, the Winter Fantasy has four outdoor cafés, an espresso bar, a popcorn booth and the Sawdust Saloon. (Santa’s hours are 10:30 am – 5 pm each day)

 

SPECIAL EVENT:

Saturday, November 22, 5:30 pm: 14th Annual Community Tree Lighting Ceremony with Laguna Beach mayor and community performers. Laguna Beach residents admitted for FREE with ID after 3 pm until closing on November 22nd only. Toys for Tots drive every Sunday – receive free admission with donation of a new toy with a value of $5 or more.
