NEW SAWDUST CONCESSIONAIRE
CALLS FIRST SUMMER SEASON A SUCCESS
(The Sawdust Art Festival is open 10 am – 10 pm daily until Sunday, August 30)

Laguna Beach, CA – For the first time, the Sawdust Art Festival increased its concessionaire count from three to four restaurant cafes and welcomed the Wizards of Pizza, a new all-natural pizza kitchen, to the show this year. Replacing the old Sawdust “Coke Booth,” Wizards of Pizza is located next to the Sawdust Saloon and offers visitors a menu largely based on natural ingredients, aligning with the Sawdust’s initiatives to become more environmentally conscientious each season.

The Wizards of Pizza offers a tasty selection of all-natural pizzas made from original recipes and organic salads, dishes inspired by Italian cuisine and its quality of “being known for its natural ingredients.” Each item on the menu, including the Italian handmade gelato and Reed’s Natural Energy Elixir, is offered to provide “good-tasting, healthy, nutritional food” to the public.   “Our menu has been very well received this year and we are very excited and privileged to be here at the Sawdust,” says Manager Barbara Nei of her first festival season experience.

Although Larry and Karen Judkin, owners of the Wizards of Pizza, do not have a prior season sales history to benchmark against, they remain enthused about their first year at the Sawdust, calling it a success, as they were able to quickly respond to customer needs throughout the season. During the Winter Fantasy show, visitors can expect to see all natural soups, beverages, desserts and other Italian winter-themed dishes.
