Saturday, July 24
Come to the Sawdust Art Festival and help celebrate our Hawaiian Surf Day this Saturday, July 24. Throughout the day we will have Hawaiian Surf-themed art classes, live Hawaiian and Surf Rock music, Hawaiian dancing, and drink specials at the Sawdust Saloon.

While you meet and greet over 200 Laguna Beach artists who create artwork from a variety of mediums including ceramics, painting, jewelry, photography, woodwork, clothing, glass, mixed media, sculpture and much more, also enjoy our Hawaiian Surf Day festivities.

Hawaiian Surf Art Classes

Saturday, July 24 from 10:30 am – 5:30 pm
On the schedule for Hawaiian Surf Day are the following art and craft projects:
Hawaiian Seascapes with Sawdust staff from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Sawdust Studio.

Hawaiian Leis with Penny Steris from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Children’s Art Spot.

Palm Pods & Surfboard Paint Project with Walter Viszolay and Sawdust staff from 11 am – 3 pm by the Waterfall.
Hawaiian Sarongs & Bags and Paper Flowers & Grass Skirts with Lupe Blanton, Ket Youngstead and Sawdust staff from 1 pm – 2 pm at the Children’s Art Spot.

Footprints in the Sand with Sawdust staff from 2:30-3:30 pm at the Children’s Art Spot.

“Design a Surfboard” Drawing Class with Tovo Andriamam from 3:30-5:30 pm at the Sawdust Studio.
Air-dry Clay Surfboards with Sawdust staff from 4-5:30 pm at the Children’s Art Spot.
“Hawaiian Surf Day” Saloon Specials
Saturday, July 24 from 10 am – 10 pm
Enjoy Saloon Specials all day long in celebration of Hawaiian Surf Day: $3 Kona Fire Rock (16 oz), $3 Longboard Lager (16 oz), $3 Landshark Lager (16 oz), $4 margaritas and $2 Bud Light Lime (12 oz).

Live Entertainment, Hawaiian-Style

Listen to live Surf music and learn how to Hawaiian dance. Great Hawaiian Surf-themed entertainment is booked on all three stages. Musical entertainment schedule for Hawaiian Surf Day:

The Eliminators (Surf Music) from 12 noon – 4:30 pm on the Main Entertainment Deck.

Chirs & Sue (Rock and Surf Music) from 11:30 am – 4 pm at the Tavern stage.
Brooke Ramel (Folk Rock) from 11:30 am – 4 pm at the Grill stage.
Isle Serenaders and Dancers (Hawaiian Music) from 5:30-9:45 pm on the Main Entertainment Deck.
Johnelle & Shap (Acoustic Rock) from 5-9:30 pm on the Tavern stage.
Jodi Siegel (Singer-songwriter) from 5-9:30 pm on the Grill stage.
