Eucalyptus Trees in Acrylic

Class Description

Get ready to bring the whimsical charm of the treetops to your canvas! In this fun, hands-on two-hour class, you’ll dive into a world of texture and color as we paint the iconic Eucalyptus tree, complete with feathered friends and botanical blooms.

Using a mix of palette knives and brushes, you’ll start by building a richly textured background of soft pastels and sky blues. From there, you'll layer on the expressive, reaching branches and sage-green leaves characteristic of the "gum tree." The magic really happens when we add the details: brightly colored birds perched among the branches and delicate, textured blossoms in pops of pink, orange, and gold.

By playing with thick acrylics and bold mark-making, you’ll create a piece that feels alive with movement and personality. No experience is needed as Maryam will guide you through every layer, from the heavy impasto textures to the final whimsical bird. Just come ready to have fun, play with paint, and get a little messy!

Price

$175.00 per student which is fully inclusive of all materials, including a 12"x12" canvas.
