Rosalie is a Laguna Beach artist who exhibits her work at the Sawdust Art Festival. Her body of work includes vivid expressionistic style oil paintings, one-of-a-kind unique fabric purses made from found objects and enhanced photographs from her travels around the world. She is inspired by the German Expressionists and French post-impressionists. Rosalie paints primarily in oil and mixed media. Her free-form expression is notably vivid, yet unsettling, giving rise to emotional transference, which is the hallmark of her work. She has found that healing comes from creating art.
Rosalie is active in the Laguna Beach art scene. In the past, she has served as a member of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters, participating in “Scenes from Shakespeare” and has been an acting docent for the Festival of Arts. She is a member of the Laguna Art Museum, Laguna Craft Guild, Artslant and OCSpark.com.
