Sandra Kobrin loves nature and colors. She has always been interested in art and design. Art has always been in her life. In the College of Cundinamarca, Colombia, she studied ceramics, sculpture and art obtaining an art degree.
It started as a hobby, but her crafts progressively turned into a business and she opened the design company “Taller La Abadia”. She has participated in numerous art and craft shows throughout Colombia for 20 years.
In the year 2000 she moved to California and began studying English and art classes in Santiago Canyon College. After these studies, she opened the Design Company “Sankodesigns”.
For 5 years she has successfully participated in art shows such as The Laguna Beach Winter Fantasy, Holiday Faire in The Irvine Art Center, The Brea Community Center’s Spring Art Craft Boutique and Art Walk in the City of Tustin.
In 2003 Sandra developed an interesting project called “OC Dolls”.
Orange County Dolls (OC Dollsâ„¢) was born from a series of thoughts that joined to create a product with a unified purpose; to create an original artistic product that one could identify with Orange County.
During the products conception phase it was decided that the dolls would be manufactured from natural and mostly recycled materials and the assembly process would use minimal or no synthetic materials, additionally in order to protect the environment, no chemical preservatives would be used.
During the last 5 years she has also been working in Watercolors and Acrylics, which are among her most recent works.
