Today we highlight Sawdust multimedia artist Jesse Miller. Whether he’s screen printing, woodworking, creating furniture, or painting, Miller’s work always showcases his innate design talent and varied skill set.
What generally starts as a simple sketch will inevitably turn into a multi-dimensional masterpiece of glass, wood, and canvas. During the 2014 summer show, Miller showcased amazing stained glass pieces based on sacred geometry, a mixed media dream catcher of walnut and glass, as well as numerous pieces that combined canvas paintings with reclaimed wood and glass.
Everything that Miller touches adopts his signature aesthetic, yet his body of work is always evolving. Designing new concepts motivates him, as he continues to marry different combos of art mediums into beautiful works of art.
As humble as he is talented, Miller occupies a very unique space within the Sawdust community. Enjoy this behind-the-scenes of a true Renaissance Man at work!
