Eco Weekend: Palm Frond Primitive Mask

Learn to make palm frond masks with David Fleischmann! A decorative or wearable mask made from repurposed natural materials. The Queen palm trees that grow all over Southern California shed wooden husks which make a perfect mask shape.  Used for millennia, examples can be seen of primal and tribal styles. Now, make your own, in your style! Participants are encouraged to find and bring their own queen palm fronds.

Sunday, June 11th | 12pm to 2pm. This class is limited to 10 students. You must register for a ticket to attend.
