About Brynne Cogorno
Local Laguna Beach artist, Brynne Cogorno, has been creating art all her life. She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2007, where she received her bachelor of fine arts in painting and drawing. After moving back to her hometown, Brynne created an earth friendly stationary line, Backward Prints in August 2008. Two years later, Brynne took a screen printing class and fell madly in love with the medium. She started a women’s apparel line which quickly took off. Brynne has since introduced several new items to her business including kitchen towels, pillows, and embroidery. When Brynne isn’t creating art and teaching, she enjoys getting out into nature where she finds stillness and gets inspired for new designs. In the end, her message is simple, and beautiful, “I started Backward Prints with intentions of spreading happiness and joy to the world through my designs and illustrations.
