Trace Palmer was born and raised in a small seaside village in Northern Ireland called Holywood, where she connected with the breathtaking nature, the powerful crashing waves of the Irish sea and the peaceful, rolling hills of the lush green countryside.   After winning the green card lottery and emigrating to the US with her brother, Gary and their parents, she was mesmerized by the art of glass blowing in the wilds of the beautiful forests near Eugene, Oregon.   She began experimenting in glass, working in colors, shapes and patterns inspired by her memories of her Celtic homeland.   Being self taught she has evolved her own unique style incorporating her designs inside the glass reminiscent to her of the powerful and subtle energies of nature and the universe, ever flowing and changing through the cycles of life.   She works with natural, earthy colors and expresses her spirituality and deep routed affinity to the universal power and beauty of nature.   Each piece is hand made and is uniquely individual, subtly varying in size, shape and color.

Trace currently blows glass in her studio in Santa Monica, California.   Her original glass jewels are combined with simple materials like leather and sterling silver leaving the glass to be the focus.   Her designer line includes necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

Trace’s glass jewelry has graced the necks of many celebrities such Sharon Stone in “Cold Creek Manor” and Lisa Kudrow in “Friends”.   She has been featured in various TV shows and magazines such as HGTV’s ”Crafters Coast to Coast”, KTLA Morning News, Travel and Leisure, Marie Claire and Lucky Magazine.

Other celebrities who wear Trace’s work include Halle Berry, Hilary Duff, Farah Fawcett, Liza Minelli, and Heather Locklear.
