This Tuesday, August 4 at 5:30 p.m. on the Main Deck, we are welcoming one of Laguna Beach’s most notable chefs! We will be hosting Lindsay Smith-Rosales, Chef/Proprietor of Nirvana Grille & Catering, along with her husband Luis Rosales. She will be creating her Burrata & Organic Heirloom Tomato Salad.

Nirvana Grille is a quaint California bistro which began in the heart of Mission Viejo. Since March 2008, Nirvana Grille expanded to include its Laguna Beach location in the heart of beautiful downtown.

Among Smith-Rosales’ accolades: named “Great Chefs of Orange County” for the celebration of Food and Wine at the Balboa Bay Club, named one of the “Top 10 Chefs in Orange County Under 40,” she has been featured on the front cover of OC Metro Magazine, in Laguna Beach Magazine as among the top 14 local chefs and was chosen as one of the Roosters Foundation’s “Culinary Masters.”

Smith-Rosales adheres to the farm to table concept and uses locally grown, fresh ingredients in her clean California cuisine. She works closely with area growers and purveyors to acquire organic produce, natural meats, wild fish and free-range chicken. Her menu changes out seasonally according to local availability.

Upcoming Chef’s Night

The next, and last, Chef’s Night will be August 18 with the Pastry Chef Mark Medina of Tamarind of London. The restaurant pays homage to India’s flavorful traditional favorites while artfully integrating California’s robust selection of seasonal, fresh and sustainable ingredients in every dish.
