Alex Velazquez

My name is Alejandra Velazquez-Chaibun ,people know me as “Alex”.

I had the pleasure of working for Barbara Barnett for 29 years. Barbara is the original creator of ‘HOOker Earrings’ She came up with this concept in 1983 and was smart enough to have it patented. She was my boss, my mentor, my friend, and she tough me everything I know!

Sadly, Barbara passed away on April of 2016 and most generously left me her business for me to continue her legacy.

This is why I put my heart and soul into every single pair of earrings and I want to thank you for joining me on my journey.
