The Plein Air Painting class invites students to step into the beautiful eucalyptus forest of the Sawdust grounds and immerse themselves in the timeless tradition of painting landscape and light. Set up with images of the stunning backdrop of Laguna Beach, students learn the basics of rendering shifting sunlight, coastal colors, and natural movement as they paint. Through this experience, they develop a deeper connection to their surroundings while learning to translate the beauty and atmosphere of the landscape into expressive, vibrant works of art.
