My work celebrates the creative spirit and sunny energy of my hometown, Laguna Beach. I’m endlessly inspired by my beachy upbringing drawing deeply from Southern California’s skate, surf, and punk culture. The bold, playful aesthetics of early ’90s Nickelodeon and Disney also serve as influences along with the raw visual language of Brazilian chapbooks and German Expressionist woodcuts.

Printmaking is central to my practice. It’s a messy, process-based medium that demands patience and persistence. I own a Griffin Series II etching press and an Ettan MS3 etching press and crank out editions from my garage.

I hold an MFA in Visual Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and a BFA in Printmaking from Cal State Long Beach.
