Debra Covern is a Laguna Beach textile and jewelry designer. She has lived in Laguna Beach for 45 years. She has been an exhibitor in the Sawdust Art Festival since 1993. Debra started out making bikinis for a local company at age 16. These days, she is designing fabrics to make popular men’s shirts. She also makes silk kimonos and beautiful handmade jewelry. Debra has served on the Board of Directors of the Sawdust Festival and was also the President of the Laguna Craft Guild for 15 years.
